My Blog About Elton John

Elton John Links

Initially, this site was meant as a directory of Elton John Links. However, there are hundreds, thousands or, who knows, millions of Elton John sites on the net. And of course, the Internet is an ever changing place, and many sites are created or deleted every single day. So I have decided to make this website a blog about my experience being an Elton John fan, and to include a list of links here.

On this page, I have listed a few of the most interesting Elton John websites, arranged by categories. Other links may be added in the future. I invite you to subscribe to the EltonLinks.com newsletter at the top of the right column to keep informed about new link additions and new blog posts.

In the early 90s, Elton John created the Elton John AIDS Foundation to help people with HIV and AIDS, and also to fund organizations devoted to help the fight against AIDS. In 1992, Elton announced that from then on, all the proceeds from his singles would go to his AIDS Foundation. To date, he has given more than $20 millions to the cause of AIDS.

In addition to giving royalties, Elton has teamed up with former tennis star Billie Jean King to organize an annual tennis tournament called Smash Hits to help AIDS charities, including the EJAF. Over the years, such tennis greats as Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi and many others have contributed to make this event, well, a Smash Hit! It’s great fun for all involved, and the crowd just loves it!
